For customers using Google, Outlook, iCal or Yahoo calendars, we've added 1-click buttons to your confirmation and reminder emails.
Clicking any button will allow the customer to add complete details to their calendar, including check-in/boarding time, written directions and check-in procedures.
Gmail event markup
For Gmail users, we've also implemented Gmail event markup.
This allows Google to:
- Highlight your confirmation and reminder emails in the Gmail "promotions" tab
- Add your event to the customer's personal search results
- Automatically add the event to the customer's Google calendar (or prompt them, depending on their settings)
ICS file attachment
For customers who use a different calendar program, we're also attaching .ics files to their emails.
Some email programs will automatically import this file into the customer's calendar. Others will prompt the customer to click and import it.
Either way, we've got you covered.
