Who Is Viator?

Viator is a large online ticketing reseller with global reach.
A few years ago they were acquired by Trip Advisor.

Why would I want to sell tickets through Viator?

If you're looking to increase sales, Viator is another marketing/sales channel that can supplement your online advertising, rack cards, etc.

Why did you integrate with Viator?

Several of our clients specifically requested this feature as a way to boost their sales and reduce call volume, and we thought that Viator's reach and integration with Trip Advisor might benefit you as well.

Do I have to let Viator resell my tickets?

Not at all -- like other marketing and sales channels, Viator may or may not be the right fit for your specific business.

How do Viator customers buy tickets?

Viator has a web portal where customers can buy tickets directly. They're also integrated with many other third party partners (eg, airlines and cruise ships).

More importantly, now that Viator is owned by Trip Advisor, integrating with Viator also allows you to sell tickets directly on your Trip Advisor page.

How does the Viator integration work?

Viator will work with you to map your events to their platform.
After they get things set up, Viator will be able to see and book directly from your Starboard inventory.

Starboard Suite allows you to control which specific event types you want Viator to have access to.

Is there a cost for working with Viator?

There's no additional cost from Starboard Suite for working with Viator.

Viator charges a 15-20% commission on the tickets they sell for you.
