Contactless Concierge Options

We hope this finds you safe and healthy!

We're hearing that many hotels have removed their concierges, or are reducing physical contact between concierges and customers.

With this in mind, we've added some contactless concierge features so you can continue receiving concierge bookings in this changing landscape.

Auto-Assigning Concierges with Discount Codes

In the Advanced Options of your discount codes, you'll find a new Auto-Assign Concierge setting that allows you to connect a concierge to a discount code.

If you provide discount codes to specific concierges, they can distribute their discount codes to customers on a business card or a brochure.

When customers enter the discount code, we'll automatically give the concierge credit for the booking, and it will appear in your Concierge Referrals report.

For your security, this is only allowed for concierges who are configured with the Referral compensation type.

Concierge Referral URL's

Each Referral concierge also has a unique Referral URL that they can publish on their website, or distribute in an email.

You can find the Referral URL at the top of their concierge record.

Online reservations that are initiated with this link will automatically credit that concierge account as well.

Concierge Email Address No Longer Required

Concierges can still log-in to their portal and create bookings for customers, just as they did before.

However, you may find that you prefer some new concierges to use the discount code or referral URL method instead of logging-in.

With this in mind, we've eliminated the email and password requirement for Referral concierges who you add in the Control Panel.

Net Rate and Balance Due relationships require a higher level of security, so concierges with those compensation types should still log-in.
